Hi I'm Jennifer Nguyen and I'm a self-taught illustrator based just outside of Los Angeles. As a shy only-child growing up, most of my time was spent finding ways to relieve myself of boredom and loneliness. This involved a lot of observing, a lot of imagining, and a lot of doodling. Echoes of this upbringing can be seen in my art today.I mostly rely on pen and ink to create my drawings, mainly because they were the most accessible tools I had growing up. I've just started incorporating watercolor in the last couple years.Sometimes I add in a lot of detail to my pieces because it helps pass the time.
